Saw this firsthand. Buddy of mine and some other dude had words in the bar one night. No one thought anything of it as the other guy left shortly after.
As we walked out later on the guy was waiting over to the side. Saw him crow hop punch out of my peripheral and connected to the side of my friends head who was about 3 feet in front of me. Friend falls and hits the back of his skull on a curb.
3 days later of being on life support his parents decided to pull the plug on doctors advice.
My friends dad was the local DA and they threw the book at him. Didnt know the guy but everyone who did said he was a good dude. One stupid drunken decision and boom your life is done.

THey rent out their space to various charities and universities when they don't have events planned, but at least once and often twice a week, it seems to be a very popular night club until at least 2 AM with an almost entirely black audience.
I went there a few times as well for a Tulane event, a charity event, etc, but on most weekend nights, it was a nightclub.

I think that was just a random dude not even there saying shite in broken english that brought any of that up. Pretty sure it was just the old dude and 25 year old with a few eye witnesses as far as official reports go.
