This is truly a glorious day.
To think, only days ago, this feat seemed impossible.
I have the utmost respect for everyone involved:
The divers who are risking their lives.
The volunteers who provided supplies and helped pump water out.
The kids for managing to stay alive and sane with enough bravery to cave dive when we all thought it would cause them to panic and shouldn't be an option.
The coach who kept these children alive until help arrived.
To think, only days ago, this feat seemed impossible.

Sadly, you're right.
The goodwill from stories like this never lasts.
But it's nice to have reminders every now and then that the world is filled with more good people than bad.
