If I were ever to consider breaking into a home, it would not be withing a 10 mile radius of Breaux Bridge.

Were there more than 2 suspects initially? Either way, that's a win for the community.

I read it as two suspects wanted in Baton Rouge robbery who were then later shot in BB.
One shot. One ran and captured.

Without starting a new thread, I'd like to take a poll of the top 2 or 3 areas you consider unwise to break into a home. If you say, "my house" that counts.

I will email the results to Gravy so he can post them and save the lives of some bright young men who just want to go to college.

Are they sure the suspect had a gun and not a book?

if youre knocking on my door around 3am i'm probably not going to open the door. If I have too it will most definitely be with a gun in hand.

Some states would prosecute him for shooting the guy who didn't produce a handfuny

Luckily for him, he's not in some states. shite, have you ever been to Breaux Bridge? I'm not fully convinced it's really part of this state. It's a weird place, but it does have Glenda's Creole Kitchen, so I'll give it a pass.

BATON ROUGE - Deputies are investigating after one person was hurt in a shooting off Heritage Estates Tuesday morning.

The shooting happened around 11 p.m. Monday near the intersection of Heritage Estates Drive and N. Colony Way. The victim tells WBRZ News 2 that a man came into his home with a ski mask and AR15 and shot him in the buttocks after demanding all of his money.

The man said detectives believe his attackers were shot Tuesday morning by a homeowner in Breaux Bridge during another botched robbery. Authorities have not confirmed that information officially at the time of this post.

The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office is investigating the shooting.

BATON ROUGE – Deputies say two men wanted for a Monday night shooting in Baton Rouge are in critical condition after trying to rob another person in Breaux Bridge Tuesday morning.

According to the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office, the men wanted have been identified as 26-year-old Joseph Bruce Broussard and 31-year-old Drewe Christopher Schexnide. Deputies responded to a report of a shooting on Aguillard Road in Breaux Bridge around 3 a.m. Tuesday.

Investigators learned that one suspect rang a doorbell at the home and waited for the homeowner to answer. When the resident approached the door, a second suspect appeared with a handgun.

Deputies say both suspects were shot by the homeowner. One suspect tried to flee the scene but was apprehended short time later by authorities. Both suspects were transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

St. Martin Parish investigators say both suspects were wanted for an armed robbery and shooting in Baton Rouge late Monday.

A man involved in a separate attempted robbery in Heritage Estates says detectives believe the two shot in Breaux Bridge are the same suspects who attempted to rob him Tuesday morning.

Jesus Christ... That guy in the video seems awfully relaxed for having been shot in the arse 10 or 12 hours ago. He also looks too old and fat to start wrestling with a guy half his age who has an AR-15. I guess looks are deceiving.

I did enjoy his description of running the guy's head into the side of his neighbor's brick house. That a-hole probably thought his evening couldn't get any worse, until four hours later when the guy in BB started shooting him full of holes.

The sad part of this story is that those two TPOS are still alive.
