Yep, the good ole days.
several guys over the years on the Corvette forum built L88 /ZL1 homages using 68/69 parts...blocks, heads factory cam and carb etc. They had them dynoed and all made between between 550 and 600hp. Absolutely amazing and a handful, considering the car weighs a little over 3000 pounds.
