75% of church goers are terrible humans, cheapskates, and tippers. 25% of them are amzing people, salt of the earth types.

Gun rights should be mostly nonexistent for anyone under 25.

My father in law is two out of three (he's not a terrible person). He basically lives at the church, is cheap as all hell and tips $5 on a $100 meal and thinks he should be patted on the back for it. He makes double what my wife and I make, has no mortgage or car note. He has no problem giving money to the church though.

I've always told my wife, if your dad won the lottery and was planning to give you a million dollars but you owed him $20, you would end up with $999,980.

Obviously I'm talking about the US or first world countries. And if you're going to say well the luck comes at birth, don't bother. In that vein the luck would be just being born at all to even begin to try to accumulate wealth.

BS. Too many people have made it out of poverty for you to say a meritocracy is laughable. I've grown up around poverty and worked with agencies who deal with the impoverished. People get out of poverty all of the time. What you see remaining are 90% people who consistently make bad choices.
