Give the state that kind of power and what could go wrong? I get what you're saying but imagine the possibilities if progressives get control.

I disagree. It should be harder.

The problem with America’s youth is way less about our school system and more about how we allow the dregs of society to breed like rabbits then not care about their children, only to have the kids grow up the same way and continue the cycle/ rant over.

Yeah, this is how Hitler started.

Hows about scaring pre-teens (11 & 12) by showing them the consequences of breeding before being ready?

Minimum wage shite jobs for life, shitty cars, trailer parks/public housing, etc. They're all in the mindset that theyre going to be millionaires in a few years, so convince them of what happens and how quickly it can be derailed. There's a few kids that I graduated high school with over 20 years ago that STILL work minimum wage jobs and have multiple kids. It's pathetic.

My mom raises my brother's kid. No matter how messed up their parents are they want to live with them and be with them.

It messes children up even when they are in a better environment. At least from my experience. It's a slippery slope.

Example was not a nasty house/ neglect it was from drug use.

Honestly most foster homes are just for money. I know the one the put my niece in was not a good environment. Then they made my mom who's never had anything on her jump through hoops for a year to get her out and custody of her. It really took a toll on her and I know it's her parents fault. They had their vice but wasn't bad parents at all and worked and supported her and took great care of her.

I know this isn't always the case. But honestly unless their is neglect/ abuse I don't think they should take children for just failing a piss test.

I preach this shite to my daughter on the regular, along with letting her know a boy will absolutely tell her anything she wants to hear if it means he gets to have sex with her....ANYTHING.

Sometimes that message doesn't get through, sometimes the message isn't given, sometimes the message falls on deaf ears, sometimes it's given to people who have already accepted their lives aren't going anywhere. Our last best hope is they use birth control or we give them the opportunity to undo a mistake before birth and we're (as a community) left to deal with their frick up.

America has gotten away from institutionalization of people crazy’s & Children (orphanages) have given way to mainstreaming people because lawmakers think everyone is equal. The foster system is a damn joke it’s actually a revenue stream for some family’s they take in children for the subsidies. If a parent is unfit they are unfit make the child a ward of the state let someone else take over.
To get a job at Dcs you must be a affirmative action hire so you take one of the most valuable resources we have and put it in the hands of the most under paid and Ill educated person that has been spit out of our educational system.
