University Students comforted with counseling after seeing Confederate Flag

According to Metrowest Daily News, students filed two “bias reports” within the past month as a result of a student displaying the flag in some way. The most recent bias incident – reported on November 19 – was a report of a student having seen a Confederate flag sticker on another student’s laptop.
In an email to students, Huddleston did not declare a ban on displaying the flag, but claimed that it upsets some students.

He doesn't seem very open to the idea of those with beliefs other than his own. Seems he is rather close minded to me.

This is getting ridiculous. College is supposed to be a place where students feel unthreatened but apparently at this school there are no security measures to make sure offensive stickers like this don't make it through the front door. This wouldn't even be an issue if we had just banned the selling of confederate flag merchandise when we had the chance

As for the counselors, who had to train for things like victims of a mass casualty incident, those sexually abused, etc.... Do you think they sit back collecting their check just thinking to themselves, "What the f*ck?!"
