Haha. The correlation in marriage, divorce and the number of partners your wife had before marrying you is only men who are insecure are bothered by it and have unrealistic expectations of people.

If I'm trying to marry someone, I think having an expectation of fidelity is completely reasonable. Factors that may affect that are completely relevant.

It's no different for the dudes as it is the women. Women have sex for fun, they have multiple partners. It doesn't mean they are a slut or will be bad "wife material."

It's not a hard and fast rule, but to dismiss it entirely is a mistake, I think. It would be especially concerning for someone whose desirability is based on material means, as opposed to a psychic-sexual relationship. But the former is probably already screwed in any case.

Also... Divorce is not always a bad thing.
College educated people usually have more financial assets so they may not divorce as easily bc it is such a financial loss.
Lots of people are in terrible marriages bc they don't want to lose their house and retirement.
Being married doesn't mean being happy.
