This study is interesting evidence that perceived racism today is significantly based on how a minority individual feels about themselves, their intolerance for people who disagree with them, and their own stereotypes for white people.

Well, this is modern racism in a nutshell:
"Large quantities of white people are racist.....as proof, I submit my own prejudice about white people, my intolerance of different viewpoints, and my being triggered by their existence".
This study along modern cries of racism and racial micro aggressions have trivialized real racism.

Okay, I read the study. It appears to display stratospheric levels of hypocrisy and an abundance of illogical thought. I'm actually surprised this wasn't an Onion article.

Bull. I've been the only white person in the room plenty of times without any issues. If you're #triggered by the mere presence of people who don't look like you, the problem is YOU, not them.

well to be a proper micro-aggression it can't or shouldn't be all internal perception. It has to be a qualitative or quantitative way in which people treat you differently/worse than they would if you were considered part of their group.
For example, if you are in said room and people start making jokes about you not being able to dance.
