She read somewhere that you are supposed to relieve pressure in the cabin during decent from 30k feet.

When the FA are picking up the trash, go to the toilet. If you can't hold it during the descent, you do have a problem and need to take precautionary measures.

She knows she has an over active bladder. I assume she has flown before and knows there are times you can no always just jump out of your seat when on a plane. There are products for this. Depends, Poise. There are Rx for this too.

I do not blame United for this one.
