Arguing with him is pointless. He's the poster that thinks it's a solution for everyone remain in the bar until 6AM when the curfew is lifted but have the bar stop serving at 2AM. I believe he said something along the lines of "everyone can just hang out and play on their phones."

Or you can just sit at home alone and bitch on a message board about not being able to go out to the bar one Friday night after 12 am due to an unprecedented natural disaster.

Your choice.

What have you seen in any of my posts makes you think those are my choices? I don't give a shite about earls and Your comment about staying in a bar until 6AM is still borderline retarded.

It was said tongue in cheek to the idiots who bitched and moaned and made it sound like the world would come to an end if a bar had to close early on a Friday night.

"What will we do??"

It's sad but no unexpected that a lot of La. People prioritize getting drunk and partying and what not over public safety and helping those in need.

I wish Earls would be forced to pay all attorney fees and court costs for this ridiculous waste of the courts time when it gets dismissed.

If we kept the curfew in place permanently would there eventually be no more people in need? Explain, in detail, the correlation between a curfew and people in need.

The fact that you still think this is about a bunch of OT'ers wanting to go to a bar and drink as opposed to bullshite abuse of power shows you really have no grasp of what's being communicated to you.

Like those who work nights and need that paycheck to keep their phone on? That kind of need?

The statute authorizing the curfew wasn't proof enough for you?

Apparently Delgado filed the lawsuit without both owners of Uncle Earls consent. He is having it dismissed ASAP. As sloppy as this guy is, I can't imagine him being my mayor. An attorney that can't file their paperwork correctly and just copies and pastes his lawsuits is just ridiculous. We can do better.

The sheriff said on TV they were not going to harass people going to work or food deliveries or emergency vehicles. They are just trying to cut down people joy riding and possible looters checking out houses at night when no one is home.

Yeah, WBRZ and this thread have burried the lead. The suit was filled by Juan Delgado. What a clown.

A statute is meaningless if it is unjustifiably and therefore unconstitutionally instituted. That will all be confirmed in the coming months though.

Sid and the gang are enforcing a curfew simply because they know others don't want it in effect and they know they have the power to do it anyway. The reasoning behind the curfew is baseless. It's wrong, it's unconstitutional, and I hope he pays the price by being voted out of office.

Really? That's what you think.

Some people in this world are just clueless.

I've never been, but someone once told me that Uncle Earl's was the "Fred's" for people in thier 30's. Is this correct? Do they play rap music and people dance?

Only been once, but that's a good way to describe it. Yes and yes.
