Wasting money filing this lawsuit as the burden is too high for the plaintiff to succeed.

Oh, so curtailing liberty is cool if it's only for a limited duration. I see where you stand.

You clearly are missing the point. I'm all for a curfew the night after the storms or even another day after to ensure everyone at risk is taken care of but 5 days after in a parish with very little remaining flood waters is overstepping. It's Friday and life around my house is back to normal, if I want to go out past midnight it should be a decision I'm legally allowed to make with my own discretion.

Interested to see if the judge agrees that the curfew has "no judicial weight" and was an attempt by "EBRSO to enact a preposterous authority they simply do not have."

You were lambasted because you're a moron.

Boozie, what's so funny about civil liberties being trampled as a political stunt? This is a case of government abusing its power by confining an entire parish to their homes when there is clearly not anymore threat to safety than there is on any other normal day in East Baton Rouge. Many of these people won't be able to pay bills or put food on the table. I know you're an attorney, I get that all this is intriguing from a legal perspective, but if you can sit back and laugh this off I sure as hell wouldn't want you as my attorney.

It's funny how people distort what really happened.

You actually might want him because he would probably save you money from filing a suit you can't win, such as this one. They should have gotten a lot more business as plaintiffs it would sent a much stronger message to the Sheriff that this is bullshite.

Notice the attorney filing suit on UE's behalf: John Delgado

According to the lawsuit, the Sheriff is actually the Governor.

Did I say it's right? No. I'm just giving you the facts...have you not been following the whole movement by BLM and others to get a state of emergency declared to keep Obama in office indefinitely?
A lot of your rights are taken away in an emergency situation - legally I might add.
Maintaining law and order trumps personal liberty and always has. Even in America.

I'm no lawyer, but wouldn't Ambeau and Delgado be Attorneys for the Plaintiff not the Defendant?

Whoa now, I've passed two bars thank you very much.
I think if I had a wild hair I'd probably just open my business without filing suit and come what may. But I'd have to be pretty much retired and not give a shite to take that risk.
