What government? The UN force in question is only about 90,000 uniformed, the majority made up of volunteers from poor countries, and is a logistical "pull" which means it has to ask for all basic resources rather than having them supplied in a surge. Very few are professional soldiers, they are poorly paid, and the bureaucracy involved is enormous even compared to our military. They'd get cut to shreds by our own military and police long before having to worry about a populous with an armament supply that is orders of magnitude beyond what the UN is supplied.
