My advice is to find small, clean communities where people act just like you.
Do you think the urban centers can be saved? I know youre a smart guy, I assume you too realize its too far gone.

I won’t speak for you and yours but I’m going to teach mine to be around certain people as little as humanly possible. I’m also going to teach them how to defend themselves and be aware of their surroundings.
I’m sorry, but I don’t think it’s a culture problem. I mean, yeah their culture sucks arse. But I think the culture is a sign of something much much deeper than that.

it took two full minutes before one decent human being finally showed up to help. several minutes after that someone else got on the train to try and help.

Not uncommon. There are vids of cities up and down the East Coast where people casually walk by crimes and crime victims.

I’ve spent significant time in the cities of Niamey, Abidjan, Mombasa and Djibouti. Mombasa and Djibouti weren’t the most comfortable places with a good amount of crime. Abidjan and Niamey(west Africa) were safe and comfortable, which reinforces my belief that it’s a culture issue
