What a goddamn disgrace of those people just to walk off
A functioning judicial system would charge and convict them of Failure to Render Aide.

Yikes is right. Nobody’s saying “trust the State to tuck you in at night,”
Youre giving me the same argument my progressive friends make.
"I shouldht have to carry a gun in public to be safe...waaaahhh"
Well dont, and deal with the consquenses. Cops will be there in 10 minutes to write you a report.

and you seem to have lost the argument, again.
What argument is that? That everywhere you go is “safe.”

Public safety isn’t about dependency, it’s about not shrugging off the basics taxpayers already fund. Otherwise, why bother having police, transit systems, or parks at all?

interesting. because I’m fairly certain you’ve been called out trying to stretch the truth multiple times implying other posters are racist.
Let’s be honest, being racist might just end up saving your life.

It’s not “progressive” to expect a basic level of safety in public. It’s the bare minimum of what a functioning society provides.
If your answer is “tough luck, just accept chaos unless you’re armed,” that’s not realism, that’s failure.
Cops showing up after the fact doesn’t fix the fact that we’ve let public safety collapse to the point where families have to think like soldiers just to ride a bus. Your plan is Mad Max…. with paperwork.
Sounds like a dream society Rog!
and again….none of this billy bad arse talk from an old man in the woods could’ve saved the young girl in this video, could it?
(keep ignoring this question, by all means)

Under U.S. law, police officers do not have a specific legal duty to protect individuals from harm, as established by several key Supreme Court rulings.
Youre out of luck either way.

No, it’s not. But you’re completely ignoring my argument while not having one at all.

answer the question Roger. You and Dr have glanced past it several times now. How convenient.

I'll reiterate...
The comments in that thread are hilarious though. A bunch of memes and hell yeahs, but that's all it'll be. No one is fighting, no one truly cares beyond shitposting.

Rudy Giulani was correct - enforce the small stuff and the big stuff follows. Ignore the small stuff and the big crime increases.

At this point, my biggest fear is that a black man will go crazy and brutally slaughter dozens of innocent victims because of the backlash it will bring on the black community.
The black community has had plenty of time to police this shite themselves, but instead they deflect and blame whitey. Please tell me why I should give one iota of a shite about any backlash they might face.

Trump needs to buy Greenland and send all the criminals there. The real problem is we just have too many shitbags here. Can’t put them all in prison and can’t let them live with us in society.

What exactly are you rambling on about? That the world would be better if it were a safer place? Ok, I agree. That we need to lock up career criminals so they don’t murder people on a public train? Ok, I agree.
Now, given the reality of the world we actually live in — not the utopia we’d all like it to be — I choose to be prepared in a situation where I need to defend myself or my family. You seem bothered by this for some reason. Why?
