So do it for fun?

Can a Covid vaccine supporter help me understand these two quotes?

Just like the flu shot, the covid shot will not give you 100% protection.

It will keep you from getting as sick or death.

Should you get them if you're young and healthy. Probably not.

If you're elderly or immuno-compromised. Yes.

Excellent, concise summary of the article.

However it's still an ongoing CMS MANDATE with young and healthy healthcare workers that work in a Medicare/Medicaid dollar reimbursed facility where ongoing available boosters determine your fully vaxxed status. Care to square that circle for us?

Possible government overreach, but if a flu or covid outbreak happened in a nursing home it could be devastating.

It's amazing that this is controversial.

You just replied to a poster who admitted that young and healthy people should NOT be getting the boosters and that it was government overreach to mandate young and healthy people get it for their jobs, yet you wonder why this is even "controversial"? You just outed yourself as a clown.

Here, we assess the effectiveness of the vaccine in reducing infectiousness via two routes: through preventing infection, and through reducing viral shedding – for which we use Ct value as a proxy in those who become infected despite vaccination.

Interpretation These results suggest that BNT162b2 is moderately to highly effective in reducing infectivity, via preventing infection and through reducing viral shedding.

Edit: Quick question, was the COVID pandemic the first time some of you realized that the government has the authority to manage health crises?

Or did you think those vaccinations you got for elementary school were all voluntary?
