Never had a problem with Uber eats or waitr. I'll track the delivery on the computer, meet them at the door and they're gone. They're not at my house for more than a minute.

I get most of my shite delivered by an androgynous little power bottom named Parker.

Or maybe he just doesn’t trust people nowadays? I don’t blame him.

I guess you don’t ever get Amazon deliveries either

Getting boxes of paper towels, clamps and jigsaw blades is not quite the same as a meatball poboy riding on the front seat of some stranger.

Tonthebpizza delivery question, yes when we had kids, the wife ordered Pizza Hut a few times. That was many many years ago and after a couple of questionable people, I began picking up on the way home from work.

I live in Livingston Parish and have a strict not wanting my food in LP's finest vehicles policy. I pick up food at the restaurant myself. I also don't order Amazon to the house. That is the worst part of working from home. No more deliveries to the office. I do Sams pickup now.

I’ve always had this concern about Uber Eats and the other services. Too many chances for shady people to come scope out my place. I tried it once and won’t do it again

Why? Can people not just scope out your house whenever?

Short answer, don’t order food to the house. Easy way for intruders to scope it out for the future as well

No. Becoming an Uber eats driver is not the easiest way to scope out a home. That actually sounds like a huge pain in the arse.

Sure they can do it whenever, but Uber Eats gives them an alibi. A mildly intelligent criminal would go about it this way

Uber support DGAF.

I guarantee had it been a white delivery driver, bringing a black owned restaurant's meal to a black customer, and the same thing happened, it would be all over the MSM and a formal apology would be coming from the CEO.

You tipped him $0, from what I guess was what, $3? You're an idiot. He went and got your food and that is what you tipped him? I'd come back and ruin the shite out of your grass. Tip better or get your lazy arse out and get your own fricking food.

Apologize for what? Sitting in front of his house for a few minutes? OP sounds paranoid and scared of black people.

Same.

Home is sacred, I don't let hardly anyone into that circle.
