Then why didn’t they immediately detain him instead of asking for ID?
Do they normally detain drivers doing this? There’s NO scenario that would satisfy people looking to be offended.

Watching the video again from this angle changes the narrative of a few of our posters
At
At 59:40 he is asked to roll the window back down. He does nothing
At 59:45 he is asked again
He does nothing
At 59:56 he is asked a third time and he cracks the window
At 59:57 the officer is asking him to roll it all the way down and he does nothing more
Thanks for the whole video
Fuk Tyreek. He was a dick, he thought he was above the law, so fuk him. I'm on the cops side. Cops didnt know what was going on he could of been a drunk driver trying to kill someobody.

This was not filmed in Mexico City?

If someone was driving fast and on sidewalks like some claim, yes the procedure likely would have resulted with weapons drawn and removing from car.
This is why you shouldn’t use emotional fallacies asking what if your family was on a sidewalk. Jfc.
But they pulled him over and stopped him for a citation. Cop then took it into his own hands when he should have walked back to his unit and ran the license that he demanded.

Why did he want it back down?

So ASSUMING that asking him to roll down his window is a lawful order (which it's not, it's simply a request), he complies within 16 seconds of first contact.
At that point, he's forceable taken out of his vehicle and illegally detained for simply not fully rolling down his window, which he is under no legal obligation to do. And you're OK with that as an American Citizen knowing it could be you next time?

Stop saying that. This 100% could not be me in this situation. I am respectful and listen to all demands immediately
Argue all you want you think the cops were wrong, but this is not a possible situation for myself or the majority of people to ever be in
I can respect the difference of opinion on how the cops should have acted once hill was out tne car
But I can’t respect anyone that thinks “this could happen to anyone” and ignoring the entire circumstances that got to him being out of the car

I’m torn on this
Hill was driving like an a-hole at that speed.
Technically, at that speed, it’s not just a ticket so his comment about “just give me a ticket and let me go” is ignorant
Hill showed a lack of cooperation with the cops too. He should have been more contrite after being pulled over going that fast. He was arrogant.
That said, the cops probably didn’t need to throw him on the ground and cuff him. They could have just gotten him out the car, cuffed him and put him in cop car to jail.

How do we know that the lawyer couldn't hear the cops was giving legal advice over the phone? That could possible screw the cops in the long run.

I'm watching your long form video which includes multiple officer cams. Something so odd is standing out.
I'll ask the he may have a gun behind those dark windows crowd: why aren't any of the many officers on scene even looking into or searching for a weapon in the car? Their biggest concern according to many here, and they're going to release him on scene back to such a dangerous option?

Don't say it couldn't be you. It could be. CNN ran a story last week that Cali cops made an innocent man confess to killing his dad when his dad was alive and well, just missing.
I'm all for supporting the cops. But you know what I support more? My own civil rights and the constitution.

A California city has agreed to pay $900,000 to a man who was subjected to a 17-hour police interrogation in which officers pressured him to falsely confess to murdering his father, who was alive.
During the 2018 interrogation of Thomas Perez Jr by police in Fontana, a city east of Los Angeles, officers suggested they would have Perez’s dog euthanized as a result of his actions, according to a complaint and footage of the encounter. A judge said the questioning appeared to be “unconstitutional psychological torture”, and the city agreed to settle Perez’s lawsuit for $898,000, his lawyer announced this week.

Sao lies a lot
Even though he says the officer reaches through the window to release the door, the truth is the officer simply opens the door with the outside handle

Nobody needs to tell me. I have watched the video several times.
Maybe you should watch it.
When you do, please capture a screenshot of the officers arm reaching through the open window.
I will be waiting!
Ban bet?

The officer would have needs an arm skinny enough for a baby but long enough for Kevin Durant to get through this window to release the door
