Nope. He shot the cop because had no respect for the law or those that enforce it.
He feels entitled because he believes cops are bad guys because modern pop culture works real hard to undermine the importance of law enforcement.

I’m sitting here at St Pauls, waiting on my son. We passed the scene on the way home from the Destrehan game. My pregnant wife and two other kids are asleep in the car. Truly saddened. I can’t even imagine what leads someone down a path this way. And that’s all the thought I will ever give to these murderers. I can’t imagine the pain and grief ahead for this officer and Marine’s family. May they find peace.
