Yes, it insinuates that the game is the reason for their failure, not the player. Meaning something must be wrong with the system. So do you believe something is wrong with capitalism?

I had 2 containers on the Maersk vessel.

Hopefully one of them was full of mardi gras beads that are for personal use only.

Based on that video, it seemed like they would have seen each other for MILES, and judging by how far out they were, either one could have veered in any direction, or hell, just slowed or stopped if it was really that confusing.

The system is what it is. Can't change it. Take advantage of it. The only thing I think is wrong with capitalism is the constant meddling by the government.

Buying from China and the US losing manufacturing jobs is a product of capitalism from the US side. From the Chinese side selling to the US at low costs is a product of the low cost of labor and massive interest free Chinese govt loans to buy state of the art manufacturing equipment.

I'm guessing two Non captains were at the helm, at night, sleeping with auto pilot on in open water. I'm guessing the auto pilots failed.

It's been a while but I'm pretty sure the navigation rules of the road say that when 2 vessels approach like that they should both alter course to starboard to avoid a collision and pass each other on the port side.

Incorrect. If you are the give way vessel you give way. If you are the stand on vessel you maintain course and speed. Not sure if NUC, RAM...apply to this collision, though.

Well, to be fair, they're usually at a closing speed of about 800 mph. I don't think container ships are pulling that kind of speed.

On the other hand container ships are operating at exactly the same elevation, and their mass makes maneuverability a joke.
