Are school buses privately owned and available for hire?

3. A COA employee standing next to me said out loud when a guy stood up to speak against the measure: "He is just saying that because he is white." I just started at her and she glared back. Pretty damn surprised she said that out loud.
Not shocking based on the comments relayed to me from the gallery.

Who owns them in EBR? I've lived in Texas ISD's where they owned them and in small town where it was First Student.
I think EBR owns the busses in BR.
And yes they are for hire for sure. Schools do it often for sports, events, etc to carry students outside of normal to and fro school.

Thank you
Hard to tell from the video, but where are those buses from? EBR Parish? Or another parish?

I don't see how anybody in good conscious could give the COA more money after what Tasha has done. The responsible thing to do would be hinge the milage on her resigning.

the elderly folk paid for the signs from a group they have called we love the coa or some shite like that...according to tasha
So let me point out that these are the elderly folk who can't afford to buy food seven days a week and need the COA to feed them. These are the people that paid for a bunch of signs?
And let's not start on the shirts. They openly admitted last night that they provide at least six T shirts to each person to wear to events. Is purchasing a half dozen shirts per person really a smart fiscal move? Did they bid that out or just hire their best friend to make all of those? So many issues... Who is getting the contract for the MILLIONS they will be spending on increased "in-home" cleaning services and maintenance they are promising to dole out to the elderly? Will they come clean my house? I have an over 60 relative living there.

That wouldn't be a big deal. They could hire busses from E and W feliciana for the day to come pick them up in NBR and drive them downtown.

I made a Facebook post for my Friends to see. Y'all do the same. the OT is only so big in BR proper.

going to have to go back and watch the last 5 minutes of this again. I don't recall what she is saying being said by the parish attorney..

the city could have used it for something else if they got approval,
They certainly could have, and should have by now. The funds were "leftover" from Gustav relief, right?
That was 8 or 9 years ago!!!!!
After 9 years they are letting the COA have the money to spend even though the taxpayers just gave them a very good source of revenue to use for facilities. Why? Aren't their other projects that lack funding support? Is EBR so flush with cash that we can't spend all the Federal aid we get? Do we have to spend the aid on bike paths, and on agencies with over 8 or 9 million dollars a year in revenues???
Think about how we spend our federal aid, and think about how bad things are in impoverished areas and tell me this is the best they can do?

red, black, lime green ... she didn't know what the frick to say at that point.
Just like she couldn't answer straight how many people went to Chicago. Gave a conflicting answer.

The Business Report has sucked donkey balls lately but that story is a pretty accurate piece.

Those are First Student busses, which is a private company. Those are not parish busses.

You are such a mean frick. I missed you.
I sent my email to Freiball.
TLDR of it says I voted for you, I'm unhappy, and it's not your place to determine what would/could happen IF they filed a lawsuit.

you can watch the whol 77 minutes on this item.. it's item 97.... go to the 70 minute mark for freiberg's question to the parish attorney about delaying and getting sued... I was wrong, the attorney did say yes you would get sued and the crowd yelled dats right meeting tape
