Nah, but I'm wondering how long it will take Snopes or Politifact to "fact check" the Bee again

Please tell me this really happened...

Oh it did. And the Bee was merciless with their ridicule of them.

They've been quiet ever since.

Didn't the Bee actually sue Snopes?

I guess I was unaware of another satire site like this. Pretty funny article once I actually read it.

Lol I just read up on some their dust up real quick and that's hilarious. I don't understand how Snopes became end all, be all as far as fact checking is concerned.

This is my favorite headline from that period:

Concerning Survey Finds Too Many People Believe Snopes Is A Legitimate Fact-Checking Website

I’ve wondered that myself.

Sadly, i don't think the article could be considered satire if the button would say "Send Bots", instead of "Send Mob".

Considering most Twitter mobs are the same damn thing.

Gave me my laugh of the day:

quote:

Among the beta testers was Twitter user @bovineright, who described being on the receiving end of the feature: “I was just on the toilet debating with some random stranger about whether milk is a symbol of white supremacy. Suddenly, there was some kind of angry mob busting down my bathroom door. I was so shocked I nearly-- well, it’s a good thing I already was where I was.”
