Dear Friend,
I will pray for you and mother's safety during these troubling times. May you have a peaceful journey and these hooligans do not harm you.

Take care

Friend,

Are you aware that poster TrimTab, who could be a man or a woman, publicly stated on this board yesterday that he/she would like to have kinky, animalistic, unwedded sex with you? She also included the pimp emoticon .

Just thought you should know.

Your friend,

I was just thinking the same thing. I get tired of his shtick, but this one was actually informative.

I found Seattle to be more dangerous, nasty and an even bigger shithole.

Having lived and worked in both PDX and SEA, I’d agree.

And people are much more friendly in Portland than Seattle. The Seattle Freeze is huge. What was once an awesome city is a shitty, soulless, shell of its former self.

Yawn. All I see is a bunch of graffiti that goed away with a power wash. As for the protesters, when the newest trend shows up on Facebook they will be off doing that. All the Chicken little vaginas need to find something new to howl about.

Homie,

You are either going to the wrong places or your palate needs significant adjustment.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had was in downtown Portland.

And yet it's still the best city in the US.

America has only cities: New York, SanFrancisco, and New Orleans . Everyone else is Cleveland

And yet we are letting them be destroyed

You're the one that says it's no big deal. All I said was graffiti can't stand up to a pressure washer.

"New trend"? You haven't been following all the videos out there showing what the rioters ate actually doing, have you? Going on 70+ days in a row now. Ever been hit in the face by a bottle rocket, from close range? Have your eyes blinded by lasers? Hit in the head by a large piece of concrete? Pretty sure pressure washers are not the answer. If you honestly think these riots are simply about graffi...good Lord.

"Fear not, for I am with you".

You know that Verse TulaneLSU. My son live in Portland and says this negative perception of rampant violence is much over blown. I will visit myself in a couple of weeks and compare notes.

I’m in Seattle and my boss is in Portland. We were talking about these played out protests the other day. Neither one of use has seen a protestor in person the entire time this has been going on. I live about 2 miles from the former CHAZ... so not too far. Stay out of each city’s downtown and you’re good. The best stuff in each city isn’t downtown anyway.

I’m genuinely curious about why you list Pittsburgh in this list. Besides the Steelers, I’ve never heard of this city being a top place to go visit. But I know nothing about Pittsburgh other than the pro sports and university. What makes Pittsburgh a top 10 place to visit?

Portland is cool. The women are rather unattractive, and the weather sucks, but it’s beautiful when the lower class isn’t acting a fool.

TulaneLSU: Thank you for the pictures. Have family out there and visiting in early September.

Gotta ask: You and mother seem to be flying around a lot these days in a pandemic. Why is that? And why risk it now to go to Portland?
