I do think Israel knowingly teed up that reality

I also think there are plenty of meritorious arguments for seizing the moment regardless of Israel loyalty

Bro, get this rational thinking out of here.

Why is Iran worth going to war?

Iran has stated multiple times that they would use them if they get them. Their #1 foreign policy goal since the 1979 revolution has been the destruction of Israel. Whatever your thoughts on that country, millions of innocent civilians don't deserve to be wiped off the face of the earth just because of their very presence in the region.

I'm conflicted

Think everyone wishes we could have made a diplomatic agreement and had this end peacefully. None of us want a repeat of Iraq

But, destroying the Iranian nuclear program has been a central tennet of Middle Eastern policy of how many presidents now? And if we had an opportunity here to end it and Iran's government, full of ideologues, refuse to negotiate......idk

Guess we will see how this unfolds

If not us, then who? And how does that make the US a safer place?

Letting someone else take the role gets us pulled into a WW3 at some point, just like WW1 and WW2

Permanently how? Delay, sure.

What’s the plan then? We help knock the shite out of them, then overtime they continue to be enemies and fund non-Iranian groups?

We aren’t signing up for country re-establishment so what’s the end game?

I suspect that there are a lot of countries (including Middle Eastern) who do not want Iran to become a nuclear power.

And they are welcome to join publicly in this campaign. Maybe even to participate.

But they haven’t. And they won’t. So who knows.

This is asinine. Israel 100% brought us into this, and they started shite apparently they couldn't finish.
