Truck prices finally starting to drop? This apparently the largest Chevy dealer in the US.

I’m loving seeing the floor plan carrying cost all these guys who were raping customers are paying now. Couldn’t happen to a better group.

All the “baws” around here drive those Chinese Toyotas instead of real American trucks like Chevy

Look at the sale price:
$37k for essentially a work truck with aluminum rims

$50k for a slightly better work truck with leather

They bit more than they could chew on production

Classic dealerships are owned by ole Eric Bryant. My wife went to school with him and his grandparents used to own a burger joint in Durant, OK.

It’s $10,000 off of the “Custom.” That’s the basically the old work truck model - it’s bottom of the line. No one wants those, especially for close to $40,000

GM went hard for commercial fleet builds when Ford chose to focus on consumer sales. Then everyone lost their capex because of interest rates and now they’re stuck with a bunch of trucks they can’t move. I’ve heard a couple bigger fleets with some capital to burn have told them they’ll buy them when they get their heads out of their arse on the prices. They’re offering like 20k. And they’ll eventually get it.

Remember when some of you dummies paid above MSRP and validated it by saying, “prices will never come down”

Same. On a truck I'm looking for AC, radio, power windows and locks. I'd also prefer to have Bluetooth but they pretty much all have that now. Really nothing else is important to me.

I drive a 6yr old, lower end XLT and it has everything I care about.

You think that’s a good value for $37,000? Well more power to you.

Edit: And that’s for a single cab 6 cylinder engine.

Interest rates and production output didn’t exactly meet at the right time. The opposite was true 2-3 years ago.

If I'm in the market, yes, not spending an extra $20-30k on things I don't care for is a good value.

MSRP: $84000

Here's $10k off! See! $74000 for a truck is a sign that things are back to normal for the average American!

The overall market is softening.

I'm selling less ADM's on higher end stuff, too.

Used stuff is still crazy-high, but that will change, too.
