I would say that 95% of everyone who loses a lot of weight gains it back within several months, so his best bet is just to wait it out, IMO.
There is no reasonable way to tell your wife that you are not happy with her physically. If he even insinuates that he doesn't like the fact that she lost weight, he will see her newfound skinny self with another dude pretty quickly.
Your friend had better get over his insecurity pretty damn quickly.

Probably not the norm but my wife gained like 20 lbs when she was pregnant and was wearing her regular clothes a week or two later. Only thing that was bigger for a while was her boobs.

OP I get where you’re friend is coming from and I’m he same way except opposite, I like them thin and try to get them to go on diets.

It's hit or miss. Mine was a horn ball when she was pregnant. I don't have that particular fetish so I kind of did my duty but otherwise was a bit weirded out by it

He mentioned getting her pregnant. He says he’s ready for kids, in his 30’s. She is like 5 years younger or so.
I’d say at her peak weight she was 170ish. He told me she’s lost 50 pounds in a year doing some nutrition club. Lots of shakes and whatnot. Height, I’ll guess is 5’6

I told him to take her out to eat a bunch. It’ll cost him, but it will keep her from eating as healthy and he can seem like the nice guy taking his wife out a lot.

Agreed. If she became a workout warrior or a distance runner that would be one thing but those fad diets don't last. She'll eventually gravitate back to her historic norms.

Maybe if you’re addicted to BBW porn and you’re about to open your mouth and say some dumb shite. If you have something substantive then you shouldn’t keep your mouth shut because of some idea like “happy wife, happy life.” That’s a good way to end up in an unhappy marriage.
