Would you like to place a bet with me that this guy won’t be going to jail? I disagree with you and would be more than happy to put my money where my mouth is. We can revisit this thread in a year or so. I’m willing to entertain bets up to $5k.

Everything was on video. This won't go to trial, his lawyer will make a deal with the prosecutor for how much jail time he does.

I wouldn't bet on it being any. Although, I certainly wouldn't bet 5 grand on it being none either.

I agree with you that this apparently was the straw that broke the camel's back. But without knowing the backstory, it sounds pretty ridiculous to shoot someone for spraying you with a hose.
I'm sure Lee has family and friends who love him, but based on previous news reporting the guy was an a-hole. Nobody gets in that many scrapes with the law by just being unlucky and/or falsely accused. It seems obvious to me that this guy was an a-hole. frick him.

Possible and reasonable or two different things to me. Of course there's a chance this guy find a way out of this. It's highly unlikely based on what we know so far though.

I had one encounter with Big Lee. Car was towed and had to pay $177 to retrieve, cash only. I gave him $180 and he said he didn't have change so he'd have to keep it.
He seemed like a collosal piece of shite, but looks like his neighbor had him beat.

If someone is willing to place a bet, probably. Just to be clear I think this guy is going to jail for some time. I’m willing to bet anyone who believes he will not go to jail.
