No lawyer is going to get this guy out of going to jail for at least 20 years. Getting sprayed with water doesn’t suggest the fear of great bodily harm. He might be able to prove that the alleged killer is mentally retarded or something but this guy will be in jail if they have this stuff on tape.

He's got to be found guilty by a jury. If his lawyer produces a dozen neighbors who all say that Lee was a douchebag and had been fricking with an old man for ten years, it's not unreasonable to think that at least 3 jurors might give the old fart a pass. (For out of LA readers who may be unaware, 2nd Degree Murder only requires a 10-2 vote for conviction in LA.)

yall gotta stop with this crap.
People who've been physically injured and killed someone in response have gone to jail for 5+ years in LA. Getting hit with a garden hose leaves this guy ZERO chance at getting out of this. I doubt he even pushes for a trial.

We have to wait to hear the whole story. If Big Lee was doing yard work, did he grab a rake when the old man got out of his truck, and hold it up to the old man? Or did the old man step out his truck gun drawn and shoot?
