Well the prosecutor could bring a second degree murder charge which includes the lesser charge of manslaughter. Do you really want to point out years of abuse that support the inference that MAYBE Mr Higgins had the intent to kill him instead of it being a sudden heat of the moment occurrence?

So now you're attacking the victim? You want to be careful when you do that because it can ruin your credibility. BTW, Big Lee's prior stuff probably won't be admissible as either too prejudicial or irrelevant to this matter.

Heck, people were surprised a similar instance at close to the same place was ruled admissible for the Joe McKnight trial.

I'd be very careful pushing the years of abuse or that Big Lee deserved it. After years of abuse, it's not out of the question to think that maybe Higgins decided to deal with Big Lee and that leads to a second degree murder conviction.

No one should be shot over something stupid like this, maybe an arse kicking but not being shot
