They won’t post if they dont need to. A lot of margin for error at the end of the week coupled with a deteriorating storm. Probably will be a nothingburger.

What is generally the cutoff of a tropical storm vs a Cat I in millibars?

It is a town in SELA in Lafourche parish named for a canal that was dug off of Bayou Lafourche to get access to the west bank of New Orleans way before the intracoastal and roads were built. It has some of the highest land in south Lafourche.

Currently is projected to be bigger than a thunderstorm.

Fox 8 in Nola said the same thing this morning. Weakening TS at landfall or if the wind sheer that's in place now stays put, it'll be blown apart
