This was the HRRR run at noon, I watched Steve present that graphic. What I am referring to in my previous post is the latest EURO run for wind gust possibilities.

It looks very concerning for some power outages IF the MAX gusts come to fruition but whatever comes through will be hauling arse and will be gone quickly.

This is the only thing about Olga that has me a little concerned...a quick little spin-up of 60-80 mph can do some damage.

You need to click this link to the EURO model wind gust potential. Quick spin ups aren't the only threat.

Surprising totals from the Euro. The NAM comes in pretty hot with some 50s over near NOLA and getting to about 40 in BR on the gusts. The Euro has to be overdone on those gust totals. The winds are projected under/near 20 kts for the same period.

Offical forecast much lower inland. LIX keeps everything near 20 mph. Lake Charles appears a bit more aggressive in Acadiana, with 20-30 mph.
