Ive never seen his show, but I see the constant commercials and they're cringe. Samantha Bee is another show that looks stupid.

Oliver actually puts a lot a effort and research into his stories. It's skewed left but he isn't going straight present false facts to get his point across. Calling out the government for bullshite policies is good no matter which side you agree with.

Oliver is a citizen now and, unlike Noah who isn't fricking funny in any circumstance, I find Oliver can be fricking hilarious when he's not blowing minor things out of proportion for politipoints.

It’s not about conservatives vs liberals.. these shows are just not funny. I will watch Real Time with Bill Maher because his show is entertaining and funny. These on the other hand are not.

He had his moments (on Comedy Central, though the faux O'Reilly show schtick got old) before he tried to wear Letterman's shoes. Towards the end, you'd think these would be easier to fill. Even with this consideration, he failed to fill them.
