Are you proposing that every time a person is acquitted of rape that the accuser should face jail time? If so, that is absolutely absurd. Plus you don't prove anything is "false" per se in any criminal proceedings, just that there is some reasonable doubt as to whether the accusation is in fact true. This would just result in a convoluted series of judicial proceedings which would serve no purpose other than lining the pockets of attorneys that so many here claim to loathe

If you claim rape, and it can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt that it’s false, then you lied…..If it’s a situation where there is an acquittal due to lack of evidence to confide beyond a reasonable doubt, then it also isn’t proven false, or proven it was a lie
