So let's see how that plays to a jury. Interests of the school before students? Check.
quote:
"In our opinion, they took appropriate action and protected the interests of our school and the safety of those students,"
You just bolded the first part...see how that works?

"The safety of those students" could mean several things, one of which could be keeping them from entering the legal system which the principal said is his primary concern.
His lawyer is an idiot for letting him open his mouth.

The girl said she tried to leave but was blocked from doing so. She said she "succumbed to peer pressure" and performed oral sex on the boys, one of whom recorded the incident with a cellphone.
Bunch of damn animals. They should be sterilized now before they reproduce.(If they haven't already)

It's sad but they probably find their students engaging in inappropriate sexual and often other criminal behavior on their campus all the time. If they reported each to the cops they would probably lose 1/3 of their student population, and word would get around to prospective students that the school does not have the students backs, and then no one would go there. They probably know this girl and the boys well, and its probably not the first time these kids have been involved in an incident. So their focus was on keeping the video from being further passed around the school, rather than reporting a potentially criminal act. The problem, for them, appears to be that girl's mom did not drop the matter, and reported it to the cops. But agree that possession is over the top. They should be nailed to the wall for failing to report it though.

NO. I said "interests of the school before students" and then you implied I altered the quote to support my position. You then supply the entire quote in which the "interests of the school" are LITERALLY stated prior to the "safety of those students." I couldn't have been more clear. He put the interests of the school before the students.

Charters get funding on a per pupil basis. They don't want to lose any of their funding, so they keep students who have no business being anywhere near their school or students who actually want to better themselves. I am the board chair of a charter school in Memphis, and I see this all of the time from the shitty charter schools here. I really hope that didn't play into their reasoning for not reporting, that would be pretty sickening

If they should be charged with anything it should have to do with failure to report a crime.
Somebody at headquarters is bucking for a promotion. Probably that pederast O'Harrahan.
