I'm looking to have a few trees removed from a lot that I own.
Have never used a tree service before and I was wondering what kind of prices in looking at to remove 3 oaks and a pine.
Apparently it's pretty tough to get someone to come out and given an estimate in my area. Called 3 companies today.
All too busy to come out.

They will probably still take care of you.

If you give em a call, talk to Dave or Brennan.
Tell them CP3 from TD sent you

I had a large mature cypress removed (knees and stump included) in the Nola area a few months ago for $2300.

What diameter is each tree ?

Can they push them over with a track hoe or will they have to be topped (cut down pieces by piece)?

Do you want the stumps ground?

Do you want debris hauled off?

So assuming 3 each oaks... Approx 24-36" width (medium size)
And 1 pine 24"

Probably around $4,000- $5,000

They are all pretty shady IMHO. Take what you think it should cost, and multiply that by 3. That'll be your cost.

Eta: I used to cut trees myself, and then also worked for two other companies after that. What I would've quoted people was always around 1/3rd what they'd quote people

I had a dead oak removed last year and it cost me $2000 for one tree plus an additional $150 to get stump grinded up. I'm in central la so I can't help with who to call, but to give you an idea of price

Depending on how easily accessible the trees are it will cost around $400 a tree plus about $75 a stump to have it grinded. If the tree is hard to get to that price will go up. Just had several trees removed and trimmed around the Shreveport area last week and that's what it cost me.

Wow that's cheap... Baton Rouge is much more expensive...

Most decent sized trees cost around 700$- 2,000$ depending on location and material to be hauled off
