the hell it isn’t. my ex girlfriends family is from in and around there and she had to actually draw her family tree out on a piece of paper because it was so confusing.

I don’t even understand how someone could think Texas sucks.
Like shitty towns, sure. But the cities are fun, hill country is gorgeous, and the Mexicans work for cheap.

The cities are fine. Above average but nothing to write home about. I don’t at all like Houston, but that’s just my opinion. Hill country is nice, but not compared to a lot of the country. Not terribly concerned about the cost of “the Mexicans”, and in fact I find it funny how Texans hate “the Mexicans” yet use the cost of labor from “the Mexicans” as a positive.
I can understand why people like it there, and I’m not knocking anyone for liking it. But it’s not a place I’m at all interested in.

Port Arthur has got to be top 5. That place is depressing. The worst.
