This is what New Orleans wanted. And they obviously like it or else they wouldn't re-elect the Destroya, which they will.

Scruffy’s city has not had a single missed day of trash pickup.

I am experienced in the area.

Not a bad place other than turnaders.

I would love to see a team of auditors and forensic accountants be given carte blanche to pore over the city's financials over the last two decades or so.

The entire state, except for a few pockets of sanity.

Here in downtown P-cola we went 3 weeks before they picked up our yard waste (grass clippings, magnolia leaves, etc...)...so pretty much the same terrible situation as NOLA.

“Like many cities…”
I haven’t heard of any trash pickup problems in any other city. Hell I live in DEM-run Baton Rouge and my trash has been picked up… even on the Monday holiday.

Chicago hasn't had this issue either.

Must just be in one small area. My trash gets picked up 3 times a week. 2 garbage runs and 1 recycle run.

NEW ORLEANS — New Orleans residents describe it as a trash nightmare.

Many residents say they haven't had their trash picked up in weeks.

Funny, right next door in Jefferson Parish, my trash has consistently been picked up twice a week.

Even Mitch could get trash picked up in a timely manner.

Not that you necessarily should have heard about these, but Philadelphia, Detroit, Jacksonville, and Columbus, Ohio, have all experienced various levels of this problem in the past few weeks.

The labor shortage caused by a Democratic policy. Hopefully our crisis ends when we quit giving extra money to people to stay home.
