Should adopted kids whose parents are of a different ethnic group be able to identity as their parents’ race?

It really shouldn't matter.

I identify as a giraffe. And my gender is unspecified.

We ignore race in my house. My adopted child is a human, an American and doesn't need to identify.

He's biracial, he can be who he chooses to be without stupid social constructs

Who cares? Why would anyone worry about this?

This is the type of “problem” that only exists on the internet

In today's world, they could identify as a fish and people would cheer them on. So brave.

I’m pretty sure that the vast majority of people who can claim (for their kids) to be a minority “race” will, in fact, take advantage of the vast array of minority privilege that our race obsessed country has to offer.

There was an adopted Chinese kid in my neighborhood growing up. We'd always make him be the japs when we played paintball. He'd lose everytime because he was the only one on his team
