Are there really multiple crossings

Not that I know of. The only one I know of is the one between I-10 & Barringer Forman (For anyone that doesn’t know it is the road by Ruffino’s on Highland)

Yeah they were supposed to close Perkins between bluff and highland I thought.

Wbrz reports mass terrorism.

I just got an alert from WBRZ that a terrorist dressed as a clown identifying as as Sharron Westin Broom stole the train then loaded it with cookie bombs in an attempt to slam into vehicles on the tracks and blow up Blue Bayou.

Not sure if that’s true or not.

If you’re talking about the road closures for RR crossing repairs, that happens last week and is completed

No I’m talking a roadway bridge closure on 427 (Perkins Rd) just north of Bluff. Isn’t that supposed to close at 9 today?

There were far more emergency vehicles there when I passed at 7:50

BATON ROUGE - A train accident occurred Wednesday morning, around 7:45 a.m.

The crash happened on the railroad tracks at Highland Road, just north of I-10.

It left two people with minor injuries and resulted in a closure of Highland Road in both directions.

Total Traffic says a car was trying to beat the train when the car got stuck under the railroad crossing arms and was hit by the oncoming train.

The train has since been stopped on the tracks.

As of 8 a.m. Highland Road is backed up in both directions and Louisiana State Police are on the scene to assist.

There was a big orange illuminated sign up yesterday by the water park saying whatever road it was would be closed for work starting 1/29 through 1/30.

I know it’s a trope to say “could’ve been me” on here but I crossed that railroad crossing at 7:35.

I’m glad I missed that cluster frick. Why do people think they can beat a train when it’s going to stop you for at most, what? 5 minutes?

it's so dumb. People get caught up in the "rat race" while commuting

The RR has the right to run trains on their tracks anytime they choose which I'm not complaining about...It just sucks that drivers during rush hour make it so much more dangerous than it should be...

I'm on Old Perkins right now and DOTD is at the bridge with the 'road closed' signs ready on the side of the road, so it looks like they are trying to do that today

You’d think the idiots would wait for highland to be cleared before starting, but I doubt it

It's startling how many people will park over train tracks in traffic.
