Tried to stop for a truck stranded at a crossing. Derailed in the process. Looks like many of the cars were carrying new autos. FB Link

You have to assume it’s terrorism at this point.

Or that train derailments get way more clicks than they did a few months ago?

It was apparently a semi stopped on the tracks. And I’ll be honest, I’ve seen semi drivers do some dumb shite around these parts.

It's right up the road from my house. That crossing is notorious for idiot truckers getting high centered on it. This has happened before and it will happen again.

Trains derail all the fricking time.

We just hear about every single on now because of the nuclear fallout in East Palestine.

Have you ever been to KY?

Granted, this is the western side but no terrorist with a brain would do something on the eastern side. Baws down there don't play and plenty of places where no body would ever be found.

No. This is on a very small country road adjacent to the new mega site for Blue Oval SK batteries. It’s a steep, rough crossing where I believe there is a sign that says No Trucks.

In that town there are two crossings. One has a gate one does not. The crossing that is a problem for trucks has no gate.
