Check in if, at any time in your life, a mobile home was your primary residence. If you'd like to share a little of your experience, feel free to do so. It's time for the REAL OT'ers to be known.

Lived in a mobile mansion for 8 years, saved a shite ton of money by doing so, then built my dream home.

Pure trailer trash here.

Me, no.

But my first love was. We should be the one for each other to this day. She named her first kid after me.

Oh well, we went our separate ways. We text a couple times a year on birthdays and such.

Never technically lived in one, but two friends of mine lived in one during college and I would stay there a lot.

They lived in a trailer park, it was affordable and they did the same as someone else in the thread said.. They saved up money while living there a few years after graduating, but they lived next to this woman.... who was a cop. She had several kids, she was a single mom.. On her days off, when the kids were not with her, and it was warm/hot outside. She would lay on her picnic table. She would lay a towel down, take off her top and lay out in the sun.. Knowing there were college aged kids right next to her, she didn't care.

Was she hot? Not really. I mean, she wasn't butt arse ugly, but it was nothing to get excited about.

Is she the one that went to the Flora-Bama with her ex-husband and got you so riled up?

Currently live in a camper. Camp House I'd been in flooded back in may plus I just got tired of checking the weather constantly.

It's been pretty good. I'm gonna put up a little shed i can put my hunting gear and other junk. I also made a porch and that makes my living space seem much bigger.

I did it for about three years except it wasn't a traditional trailer, just an apartment.

I was raised in one sitting on 20 acres of prime real estate. My dad just didn't believe that house were actually worth the price. I personally don't give a shite what I live in. I spend much more time outside when I'm home than inside.

My $3500/month condo in Redondo Beach sat empty most of the time while I was actually on the beach. My current house sits empty most of the time while I'm hunting/fishing. As long as my bed is comfortable, I'm good to go.
