Flipped vehicle has the right lane blocked on the downslope of the MS River Bridge coming into Baton Rouge. Delays to LA 1 in Port Allen & building.
UPDATE: First responders now on scene and with that right 2 lanes now blocked I-10 E on the MS River Bridge and left lane is blocked on I-10 W.

They should have alerts for when the bridge has absolutely nothing happening on it. that’s more unexpected.

Nothing surprises me with traffic and that bridge. An iceberg could appear and crash into the side of that bridge and i still would not be shocked.

Of all things, can't remember a flipped car....we were overdue for one of these

Well, at least for them they didn't go over the side.

hey guys, i have a GREAT idea i'm going to swerve around traffic on a road where if i make a mistake my car will drop 50 feet into the river killing me instantly.

considering how slow BR traffic is at this time of the day. i don't even know how you get up enough speed to pull that off.

Nice
Ought to be an easy commute home today in Baton Rouge traffic
Rescue the driver and throw the rest off top of bridge and get traffic rolling

Was watching some dashcam footage on Reddit, it was eye opening how easily cars can flip. Usually it was a car running up on another vehicle like a truck, the tires connect and essentially fling the car. It was otherwise low speed and low impact but when the tire catches just right, over it goes.

He’s lucky that thing didn’t go into the river. How the hell do flip a car like that unless it catches the sidewall

Imagine this happening on a Saturday afternoon in the fall. The Rant would be OOC.
