Donald Meyer should have returned fire and killed the constable. That's what I would have done.

I understand that you feel law enforcement should have SEAL level training and ice water running through their veins. Everyone of them should be expert marksmen, no fear of dying, and unimaginable situational awareness. After all, they are carrying a gun so we should expect the highest level of intelligence and tactical training imaginable. Should we also expect the same standards for every concealed carrying citizen or gun owning American? After all, they could be placed in a situation where they have to use deadly force as well.

For the sake of your argument, I hope you never fire a bullet and it hit anywhere except the 10 ring.

No you wouldn't. And you would be a dumbass for pointing a rifle at him in the first place.

Not the case at all but since you went there if this had been a Seal that did this there would be hell for him to pay for killing a bystander which goes for if any military personal kills someone by accident. They have to account for every kill made and all are judged on whether they were deserving or not.

You cannot compare cc to this since they are not being paid to carry a firearm.

I am sorry that I expect that someone who is carrying a gun as their job to be able hit someone center mass at point blank range. I am not blaming the guy, I am blaming the system in which these people are trained. I feel bad for them because this is what happens when they do their job and it sucks for them but it is hard to find good people to work for that kind of money.

No just not but hell no! My point is that he hit the fricker in the arm instead of the chest. If he hits the guy in the chest the right person dies. If you are stupid enough to point a gun at a cop you deserve to die. The only thing I am trying to say is that it sucks that the constables training was not high enough for him to place a proper shot anywhere in the largest part of a persons body.

Quick question here. How does someone hold a rifle when they point it at someone? Are their arms splayed out to their sides? Or are they compacted to the body, even in front of the chest area as they hold the rifle?

Seems to me that you are looking for any excuse to blame the police.

First of all I am not trying to blame the police for anything and am normally on here defending the officer.

You cannot answer this question because you have no clue how they hold a rifle. Tactical would be tight, however people who shoot clays and things like that may have their elbows flared to assist in swinging. Either way all of you spin it he missed his intended target. It sucks but he missed.

It was a constable. How much training do they have?

Exactly! My dad is a mechanical engineer who ran for constable on the outskirts of Shreveport and got elected. He had no police training. Hell, he even had to call and ask to borrow my revolver so he could have a weapon to carry on his side.

I'm not calling cops to be murdeted. You clearly can't read. It's the punishment for killing innocent people. I bet You have zero problem when a cop killer gets death. Actions have Consequences. That cop could've backed away, instead he fired recklessly, killing a girl.

I would like to know why they were evicting him, and why they need someone with a gun to serve an eviction notice (different than someone kicking the man out of his house).

Poor girl.

Shitty father. Feel bad for the constable to have to live with that when it never should have come to it

Maybe he was trying to hit the harm and not kill the guy. The girl walked out to see what was going on and boom.

Obviously could have gone down completely different. Hard to know.

Just a sad story

I would say over half of wounds in a close range firefight are the arm and hands. The focus is on the firearm being fired at you and most people will aim/shoot at the firearm.

The round went through the idiots arm, and unfortunately, hit and killed the girl. The father will be facing serious charges and I hope the fact he was responsible for killing his own daughter haunts him for the rest of his days.
