To do the 3d volumetric or cross section you need gr2analyst, which is $240. The images are 10-15 minutes old cause it has to do a complete scan for each frame, so it's not good for real time application, but rather to reviewa storm.

I know BR will get the squall line but it looks like we may be out of the woods for discreet cells?

Nah I wish I could've been but I'm in the middle of track season right now. You doing anything with it?

Straight-line winds are going to be an issue and have been for much of northern LA. Monroe and areas north of there just got slammed.

Yea I thought I heard some strong winds from my room. May go take a walk and see if I see anything outside.

Monroe check in - some strong winds and heavy rain just north of Monroe.
Electricity is out
Can't see any significant damage in my general area

Supposedly. That is probably a better indicator of the wall cloud with a smaller tornado within, but still impressive nonetheless.

No, I'm not doing anything cool right now other than providing some peer review for the CASA DFW Urban Test Bed. However, I haven't even been doing that

strong rotation heading to Baskin

If a tornado is going to form, that son of a bitch almost always starts off in the no-man's land between the radar velocities of each site. Never seems to fail.

Yeah, having lived in Birmingham last year -- where Alabama Flash and Flicker chooses not to offer an outage map for some strange reason -- it's nice to be able to pull up the useful Entergy map.
