Hope there’s no fatalities…

Our SIL is in Temple on business-he is fine. Power out. Said it might be the worst storm he ever experienced

My wife and I raised a family there, in Temple.

That shed really ought to be blue in tornado country.

That is one mean motor scooter... and a bad go-getter. It's gotten too dangerous to live almost anywhere in Texas; if it's not tornados, it's derechos, floods, wicked hailstorms, wicked thunderstorms, hurricanes and their aftermath, and above all, the unreal summer heat and humidity.

quote:we still have power, but driving around seeing the aftermath is crazy.everything in West Temple was built in last ten years and Alot of those kb houses were built on the cheap, whole houses tipped over with foundations exposed

Goodness
I believe he is a project manager overseeing an apartment complex build. Is out of Lubbock and in Temple weekly

and yet, despite prognostications from trolls like yourself, the population and general happiness keep growing

I hope Dimples from Temple is ok.
But seriously I hope people are ok up there. I'm up to Temple a lot for work. It looked bad on the radar.

I was in the storm megathread and detailed this but just made it back home to Temple from west Texas. We were seeing family and started getting reports.
We had left somebody to feed our dogs. Neighbor told us that our fence was down and he was able to get them back inside and block off the doggie door.
Pretty bad out there. No stop lights working and a few trees completely uproooted. Neighborhood was in complete shambles. It was pitch black with no street lights so I couldn’t get a full scope of how bad it was.
Got back home about 15 minutes ago and no power. Dogs were good though.
I’ll probably take them for a walk in the morning and get pictures before I start working on the fence.
Haven’t heard of any fatalities fortunately but I did see the video about the mall. Brutal.

Trying to figure out which Cefco that is.
Looks like the one in Belton off 317 and Lake Road. My friends in Belton proper didn’t make it sound like it was that bad there.

Feel free to leave. I hear Louisiana is looking for citizens.
