In the 60’s, I was told that it didn’t get above freezing for three days. The ponds were so thick with ice, that you could ride a horse across them.
Iirc, the Lakes of LSU froze then as well.

I’m in weatherford tx right in the middle of this tornado warnings path. Let’s get this over with. It’s loud and flashing right now.

My house alarm just went off with the warning but that’s a huge range. Can’t find where it is exactly. No sirens nearby.

Well it is a thin line. It’s just pretty brutal inside that line

I think you’re right. I used to say Gun Barrel City was a tornado magnet but we bought a lakehouse there so I’m hoping I was wrong
