I used to play poker with a man from Marmaduke at the casino in Caruthersville, MO.

Complete random thought there.

New odd town names is low key one of my most enjoyed aspects of weather events.

I actually concur. It's amazing to learn small town names only locals know of when alerts pop up.

Crazy to think this isn’t even the main event.

Unless my radarscope is broken, the storms heading into St. Louis are bringing some tremendous wind.

It isn't broken. I haven't even bothered with looking too much at those. I'll let the pros take care of that radar presentation.

I cant look away, really skirting the line between broken band of supercells and a QLCS made up entirely of supercells.

Can I assume it’s going to get ugly in the Memphis area of West TN/North MS?

If it’s headed towards Jonesboro, how close to ASU will it come?

There's a window for it to get ugly. That area has always been forecast to develope later. Whether you see cells or not, the line later on is going to be dangerous.

That's a cyclical supercell that has secondary rotations. A nasty storm.

What’s crazy is other than the Jonesboro tornado all the rest aren’t even in the supposedly most favorable environment yet. It’s going to blow up when this system moves a little more East. Tornado watch just expanded eastward in TN and NE MS and Southwestward toward Texas and SW Ar.

BWER, again. Not what you want to see near a sizable town.
