Just stroll into the office and inform the boss you'll be working from home for the next several years.

I'm curious how bad my commute is going to suck every day. I'm headed East in the morning and West in the afternoon, so it's usually not terrible for me. I feel for the folks going the other direction that I see each day. Looks miserable.
Whatever you do, don't take Hwy30. It's already too full.

If you have to travel it, I'd take a tent and some rations.

Im the same way. I will more than likely start taking Hwy 30 to and from Ascension during the work week.

It sounds like it's going to be a design build job. They can be a pain in the arse, but it gets the work started much faster. I wonder who's doing the work.

I avoid that stretch now by going around, but wait until summer 2018 when Blue Bayou opens back up and continues to screw the traffic on Highland in every direction... They need to shutdown that south entrance or relocate it further from the light.

You mean that dirt road exit?

Didn't know this project was on the horizon. I'll make my chauffeur aware so that he can dial in on alternate routes.

Bitch when they don't make road improvements and bitch when they do.

James Construction Group LLC
At least Austin Bridge is out of the equation so it won't be a cluster like the last widening project

It won't. All of the work will be done at night.
