My friends that lived in China had similar commentary. He said that people would cross the street to avoid walking near his black friend on the sidewalk.
On the flip side, I have found Asians usually love white people. White people are assumed to be wealthy and are treated over-the-top nice. In the most simple example of white being the favored color, there are ads are over the place (and samples left in hotels) for whitening cream that bleaches your skin.

You mean do minorities in other countries blame whites for all their problems? No. Not at all.
America is the most racist country towards its own people. No other country can you freely shite on white people so much (as far as countries with white people go).
Hell, try doing that in Mexico or anywhere South of that and you will get laughed at.
If you are ever tired of how you are treated in America, move to Mexico or South America. They treat the whites like royalty.

It exists in every western European country, probably even every European country. Hell, Swedish feminists tell their fellow citizens it is racist to not "accept" the Muslim's culture by letting them rape you.

Other countries have real racism - the kind of racism you see in Hollywood movies about the South (but never actually see in the South).
Spending time Eastern Europe is an eye opening experience. You'll see members of their elected officials publicly demeaning particular minorities, and groups of law enforcement officers openly discriminating against those minorities.

In my experience, it's similar in the sense that white people are still hand wringing wusses for the most part.
It's probably worse to some extent, because here we have much more frank conversations with the other side, and racial dialogue seems less common in most of Europe. But, white people will still attack white people for ANYTHING pertaining to race, from what I've seen.
That said, I don't think their minority groups are as empowered as ours are, and I mean "empowered" in the worst way possible. Placated, patronized, etc. For example, I don't think you've got random idiots writing articles in major papers about how white women are racist because they don't clear a path for him.

That's because they are not white.
However, even Japan has changed for the worst. During one of the World Wars a man got stuck on an island or something for 20 years or so. He was a Japanese man who fought for his country but his commanders never came back to get him so he thought the war was going on all that time. When he finally realized what had happened and came home to Japan he ended up moving because they had lost their sense of Nationalism and pride.
He ended up moving to Brazil of all places.
So, Japan does have these identity problems. However, the focus for now is on European countries.

They're fans of us and our culture (Gen X and below at least). But the reason they want to appear as white as possible is because it indicates that they don't do physical labor and thus making them more wealthy. Men for instance (mostly cab drivers) will grow out a coke nail just to show this.

I have lived in several countries. Only countries ruled by media face the implosion that is America.

FWIW I've been to China and this wasn't my experience. They did stare though.
