Nice. I was at the old O'Shea's in Vegas a few years back (RIP) and some guy won the progressive on a table for just over 100k.

Most I've ever won or lost is around 800 or so. Most of the time I play low limit poker to relax, but when I'm with a group I'll play craps for a little while.

$1000. Twice. Once at the Beau at the bar poker machine. Hit a royal with no deuces. Then once playing shockwave poker at Mandalay bay. Hit 4 of a kind while in the shockwave bonus.

I never really did well at blackjack and I have no idea why. Apparently I'm just bad at it even though it's pretty simple

Blackjack is the only game I like

I don't like gambling though so I only play on my mom's money. I usually leave with 2-300$

It's not really simple but if you follow the general rules you can win some money. You won't hit big fast like you can on other games but you can win consistently and build up.

Never sit at a table with an auto shuffler. The minimum bet for manual shuffle is higher but it is worth it.

What's the reasoning here?

I should have said continuous shuffle and not auto shuffle. Auto shuffler doesn't change things like a continuous does.

The player odds drop on continuous shufflers, and though I am not a card counter, I can usually have a pretty good feel for what's left in the deck on manual and auto shuffle tables. Not continuous because they were made specifically to discourage card counting.

I didn't know there were continuous shufflers. That's fricking stupid. I'd never sit at a table that did that. And I agree, I think most of my friends that have done well at blackjack over the years have a general sense of what's in the deck. Obviously the less decks per shoe the better.

Ok that makes more sense, I enjoy blackjack as well.. I'd much rather card games than slots for sure.
